Powerful address yesterday by UN Under-Secretary-General Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka at Consultation Day.
Moving forward, she said, we need to focus not on what NEEDS to be done but on HOW will we Get it done!
In the next 15 years, "we need to break the back of inequality once and for all...This can be done. This is not mission impossible. It is the last mile."
Wonderful as well to see and hear from Dr Gertrude Mongella, former Under-Secretary-General for the UN Fourth World Conference on Women on "What Beijing plus 20 Must Accomplish." Always an inspiration!
